At AVA of Norway, we are committed to extending the life of our products and reducing environmental waste. One of the most important ways we support this mission is through long-term availability of spare parts.
15–20 Year Availability Commitment
We guarantee the availability of all spare parts with a functional role in the product:

For all products: Spare parts will be available for at least 15 years from the date of sale.

For products with a 20-year warranty: Spare parts will be available for 20 years from the date of sale.
This applies to original parts, as well as upgraded or functionally equivalent components introduced after launch.
Repair Without Worry
Repairs, servicing, and maintenance performed by the end user do not void your product warranty.
We actively support self-repair through our AVA Support Universe, with guides, and direct support. Our design philosophy is built on transparency, accessibility, and long-term serviceability.
Fair Access and Ongoing Support

All functional parts will remain available for purchase through our online store or through authorised partners.

We continuously work to simplify packaging and logistics – many parts are shipped directly from our warehouse to end users, with clear labelling and QR codes linking to guides and specifications.

Some components may be replaced by improved versions over time. In these cases, we will always offer parts that are fully compatible and maintain the same or improved performance.
Exclusions
This guarantee applies to parts with functional or mechanical purpose. Decorative elements, packaging, discontinued accessories, or parts affected by regulatory changes may be excluded from this commitment.
Non-Profit Spare Parts – Making Repair Worth It
At AVA of Norway, we believe that long-lasting products shouldn’t just be possible – they should be profitable to repair. That’s why we offer non-profit spare parts as part of our commitment to sustainability and real-world repairability.
This principle is simple:
We do not make money on spare parts.
All spare parts and repair kits are priced to cover only actual manufacturing, packaging, and shipping costs – nothing more.
This is a deliberate choice, grounded in one of the key findings from the European Commission’s in-depth report on the pressure washer market:
Most pressure washers have too short a lifespan – and repairs are often not economically viable.¹
At AVA, we aim to change that. Our non-profit pricing helps ensure that repairs are worth doing, both for service centres and DIY users. Together with step-by-step guides and access to affordable spare parts, we remove the most common obstacles to repair.
Our repair-friendly approach includes:

At AVA of Norway, we believe that products should be built to last — not to be replaced. Repairability is one of the cornerstones of our product philosophy, and we design all our pressure washers with this principle in mind.

Our products are modular and accessible by design. Key components such as pumps, electronics, hoses, seals, and valves are:
- Available as complete kits or individual parts
- User-serviceable using standard tools
- Supported by public repair guides and in some cases video instructions
We believe users should not have to choose between replacing or discarding a product simply because one component has failed.
Spare Parts Availability
We guarantee spare part availability for:

Repair Kit Policy – AVA of Norway
1. Purpose
AVA of Norway has introduced a comprehensive repair kit system to support long-term product lifespan, reduce environmental impact, and ensure high repair success across all customer segments. Our repair kits are designed to simplify the repair process while maintaining full compliance with EU regulations on spare parts availability and repairability.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all functional spare parts in AVA products, including but not limited to pumps, valves, motors, and internal sealing systems. Kits are available for both end-user (DIY) and professional workshop use.
3. Kit Composition
Each repair kit includes all necessary components for a successful replacement: primary part(s), matching seals, screws, spacers, and alignment tools when needed. All kits are individually numbered and documented.
4. Rationale
- Reduces repair time and labour costs, making more repairs economically viable
- Makes repairs accessible for non-professionals by removing complexity and part-matching risk
- Enables AVA to offer low-margin, nonprofit pricing on spare parts while reducing logistics cost
- Ensures correct reassembly and prevents failures due to missing or mismatched components
5. Spare Part Equivalence
In line with EU repairability regulations, each AVA repair kit is considered a full spare part. All kits are available for at least 15 years (20 years for products under extended warranty). They fulfil all criteria for availability, functionality, and pricing as per EU standards.
6. Transparency
Each kit is listed in AVA's official parts catalog, with visible contents and corresponding guides. QR codes on product packaging or spare part bags link directly to step-by-step repair instructions and videos.
7. Guarantee Support
Repairs using AVA repair kits do not void warranty. Kits are used both in out-of-warranty service and in official warranty repairs. Their simplified structure ensures correct installation and supports both workshop and consumer success.
