Typical cause of service need

 


Failure symptoms – Part correlation

• Loss of pressure or water dripping from machine.
• Motor running continuously after releasing trigger.
• Pressure washer not turning on.
• Poor or unstable water flow.
• Leaking from hose connection or internal valve.s

 


Installation and service advice

Always priority safety first: Safety instructions – AVA of Norway

  • Disconnect both power and water before starting service.
  • Discharge residual pressure by pulling the trigger on the gun in a safe direction.
  • Make sure your workspace is clean and dry. There may be some water remaining in pump or hoses.
  • Follow the model-specific service guide carefully.
  • Use T25 and 6 mm hex/Allen key where applicable.
  • Certain parts such as brass rings and white backing rings must be reused.
  • Refer to illustration in service guide for correct order of seal and ring placement.
  • Tighten hex screws in a cross-pattern for even pressure.

First start after service

  • Connect pressure gun and hose.
  • Connect water – check for leaks.
  • Pull the trigger until water runs clear (air removed).
  • Connect power.
  • Turn on the machine.
  • Let water flow for 1 minute without nozzle.
  • Attach nozzle and confirm full pressure output.

 


Troubleshooting

Water leaking internally:
Open the machine and inspect for leak source. Replace or reseat faulty seals.

Motor runs continuously:
Check seating of the switch box on the start/stop valve.

Machine won’t start:
• Verify power cable and house fuse
• Inspect all internal connections

Poor pressure:
• Check for dirt or debris in pump
• Confirm spring and valve alignment
• Clean or replace water filter and nozzle

Motor hums but does not start:
Check that capacitor is connected with both black and white wire.
