• Evolution: P60-P90 (EU)

Note: If the issue is identified within the micro switch, consider a complete service with our Warranty and repair kit, 5 year. This included the EL 01 switchbox.

 

Switchbox Replacement Kit Contains:

• Switchbox assembly
• Electric cable (EU plug)

Tools needed:

• Switch box
• Torx T25, 200 mm (included in AVA First Aid Kit)
• Phillips head screwdriver

Installation and Replacement Advice:

• Disconnect both power and water before starting the replacement.
• Discharge any residual pressure by pulling the trigger on the gun in a safe direction.
• Ensure your workspace is clean and dry.

Typical Causes for Switchbox Replacement:

• Faulty or damaged switchbox affecting the operation.
• Wear and tear from regular use.

Symptoms of a Faulty Switchbox:

• Pressure washer not turning on.
• Motor running continuously after releasing the trigger.
• Unstable or poor water flow.

Troubleshooting:

• Water is leaking from the inside:
  Disconnect power and open the pressure washer to locate the leak. Remedy as necessary.
• Motor runs continuously:
  Likely caused by improper seating of the switchbox on the start/stop valve. Ensure the switchbox is properly seated.
• Pressure washer won’t turn on:
  Check the power cable connection, circuit breaker, fuse (for UK models), and internal cabling.
• Poor performance/pressure:
  Check for improper assembly or debris in the pump. Make sure the spring in the main valve is seated correctly.
• Motor making a humming noise and unable to start:
  Check that the capacitor is properly connected to the motor.
