V4 01 Piston kit
Applicable for:
- AVA Master: P60, P70, P80, both Master 1.0 & Master 2.0
- Evolution: P60, P70, P80
Recommended for qualified technicians – Always consider a complete module kit*
· This kit contains all four pistons for the AVA high-pressure pump. The pistons transfer the motion from the motor into pressurised water flow and are critical for the machine’s performance.
· Pistons are typically replaced during extended maintenance (10-year service) or if a mechanical failure has occurred.
· The kit includes 4 pistons, each pre-assembled with spring and holder (as shown in the product image).
· Note: Pistons are high-precision components. If you are considering an alternative, check that diameter, stroke length and material are identical.
*Recommended for qualified technicians – Always consider a complete module kit
Damaged pistons often indicate deeper mechanical issues, such as misaligned seals, frost damage, or worn bearings. Before replacing only the pistons, surrounding parts must be carefully inspected. If in doubt, we recommend using the 10-Year Warranty and Repair Kit for a safer and more complete repair.
If the machine has experienced seal damage, vibrations, or frost exposure, this kit alone may not be enough.

Typical cause of failure
• Long-term wear and tear from high-pressure operation
• Improper alignment during earlier repairs
• Frost damage leading to cracks or deformation
• Operation with worn or misfitted seals causing scoring (grooves) on the piston surface
Failure symptoms – Part correlation
• Poor or inconsistent pressure output
• Excessive noise or vibration from pump area
• Visible cracks, wear marks or pitting on the piston surface during inspection
• Fluid leakage despite new seals being installed

Warranty and Self-Repair – The AVA Way
At AVA, we encourage repair – not throwaway culture. You’re free to open your machine, inspect it, and replace parts yourself without losing your warranty. That’s part of what makes owning an AVA product different.
We offer guides, spare parts and support so that you can keep your machine running for many years to come – whether it’s a simple nozzle, a carbon brush, or a full pump module.
Many parts are designed to be replaceable – just like they should be.
Visible signs of use or repair are welcomed – they mean the product is being cared for.
