V3 12 Piston sealing kit

Applicable for:

  • Easy, all models
  • Smart, all models
  • Go, all models

This kit includes the essential seals located around the three pistons and oil chamber in AVA’s compact pump models. These seals keep the water system separate from the internal oil reservoir, preventing leaks and maintaining pressure integrity.

A failed seal can cause water or oil leakage, or allow water into the oil chamber – which in turn may lead to pressure loss and mechanical damage.

The kit includes three oil seals (one per piston), high-pressure seals, and the O-ring for sealing the oil chamber.

Note: These seals are precision-made for AVA’s pump design. Third-party replacements may look similar but often differ in material or fit. Always verify specifications before using alternatives.

*Recommended for qualified technicians – Always consider a complete module kit

*Replacing piston seals requires internal disassembly and correct orientation during reassembly. If your washer has experienced frost damage or shows mixed symptoms, we recommend using the Complete replacement kit for a safer and more complete repair. This will reset the entire pump for long-term reliability.

Typical cause of failure

  • Normal wear and tear over time.
  • Freezing temperatures (frost damage).
  • Contaminated or hard water causing seal degradation.
  • Incorrect installation or reuse of old seals.

Failure symptoms – Part correlation

  • Visible water or oil leakage underneath the unit.
  • Drop in water pressure after a few minutes of use.
  • Milky, grey-coloured oil – a clear sign of water contamination.
  • Pressure improves when cold, but decreases as the machine warms up.

Installation advice

  • Remove pistons by pulling them out and inspect them.
  • Remove sealings from valve housing, if any left in the piston chamber
  • Remove sealings from piston guide aluminium disk.
  • Insert new sealings in piston guide disk, and into valve housing. Re-lubricate the sealing with grease.
  • Reassemble pistons by inserting them from below the disc. Check that it moves in and return by piston spring force.
