MA 12 On/Off Commutator Master (mechanical part)

Applicable for:

  • AVA Master: P60, P70, P80, both Master 1.0 & Master 2.0

This is the mechanical component of the main power switch on your AVA Master – the part you turn by hand to start or stop the machine. It includes the rotating knob and the inner axle that connects to the switch housing (electrical unit).

This part is purely mechanical and does not include any electronics.

Note: This part is rarely damaged during normal use. Replacement is typically only required due to impact or external force.

*Recommended for skilled users or technicians
If the knob is loose, cracked, or no longer engages the internal switch, this part allows for quick and cost-effective repair. Always inspect the switch housing for internal damage before replacing only the mechanical component. If in doubt, consider replacing complete AVA Warranty and Repair Kits which contains switch module with electronics.

See overview of all kits here.

Typical cause of failure

• External impact or force applied to the switch.
• Over-tightening or twisting while frozen.
• Drop damage during transport or handling.

Failure symptoms – Part correlation

• The knob turns without resistance and doesn’t start or stop the machine.
• Knob is visibly cracked, misaligned, or broken off
• Loss of connection between the knob and internal switch mechanism.
