We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, you can return unused items within 30 days of receiving your goods.
Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in the original condition.
- The item must be returned with its original packaging and labels, if applicable.
- We cannot accept returns for personalized or customized items, unless they are defective or damaged.
How to Return an Item
1. Contact Us: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@avaofnorway.com to notify us of your intention to return the item(s). Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.
2. Return Authorization: Once we receive your return request, we will provide you with a return authorization and the return address.
3. Return Shipping: You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is defective or we made an error with your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for the return shipment, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exceptions to Our Return Policy
We cannot accept returns on opened, used, or damaged items that are no longer in resellable condition.
Gift cards, downloadable software, and personalized/customized products are not eligible for return, unless they are defective.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item is defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately through the relevant website customer service forms. We will offer a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you, including return shipping.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item and place a new order.
Consumer Rights in the Netherlands
In accordance with Dutch consumer protection laws, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (known as the "right of withdrawal"). This is in addition to our 30-day returns policy. For returns under the right of withdrawal, we will issue a refund for the product purchase price, minus any shipping costs.
