V4 04 Regulator repair kit A
Applicable for:
- AVA Master: P60, P70, P80, both Master 1.0 & Master 2.0
- Evolution: P60, P70, P80
Recommended for qualified technicians – Always consider a complete module kit*
This kit contains essential components to restore the function of the control piston (also known as the pressure regulator plunger) located in the top of the pump. The control piston senses water pressure and activates a spring-loaded mechanism that communicates with the electrical switch to start or stop the machine.
*We highly recommend considering a complete 5-Year Warranty and Repair Kit instead of this part. Regulator repair kit is intended for professional use and should be installed only after thoroughly checking all nearby components. This is especially recommended if the product has been exposed for cold temperatures or if the root cause of the issue is unclear. The warranty kit offers a more comprehensive solution and peace of mind for long-term use.
Here you can find our overview of Warranty & Repair kits.
Typical cause of failure
• Internal wear due to age or heavy use
• Dirt or limescale build-up causing the piston to stick
• Damage from frozen water left in the pump
• Deformation or leakage caused by excess pressure or misalignment
Failure symptoms – Part correlation
• The machine does not stop when the trigger is released
• The machine fails to start when water is flowing
• Noticeable delay before the machine reacts
